After all the socialisation one is submitted to from birth to adulthood, it is no wonder we "know not who we are or might be". We are for ever living up to other people's expectation. We are then judged by their standards as good or bad. We are treated in accordance; if we comply we are good if we deviat we are bad.
We might become still and consider 'being' for a while as in 'human being' and devalue the 'doing' because we are not 'human doings'.
