This is absolutely right that we all have dreams and there must be some meaning attached to it. Because our dreaming is directly related to our routine life.

A dream is a succession of thoughts, images, sounds or emotions which the mind experiences during sleep. The content and purpose of dreams are not fully understood, though they have been a topic of speculation and interest throughout recorded history. The scientific study of dreams is known as oneirology. The technology for studying dreams has been around for a few decades.

I don't know whether sleep talking and dreaming are related, but I would imagine so. I recently woke up my in-laws by sleep-talking in a hotel room while my fiance was in the hospital. Thanks

Your dream world is very real. You interact and respond within you dream and therefore it is quite normal to talk while you are sleeping.
