Dreaming - Back to school

I keep on dreaming about school, sometimes primary, sometimes secondary, along with the friends I had on school, its always tests I'm writing which ends up in nightmares where I have to complete the test and there is not enough time or I realize I haven't studied it, etc.

Now, i always had the longing to go study after school, however things never worked in my favour along with the uncertainty of what would i study when I'm privileged to do so. Is this why I keep on dreaming this particular dream?

Tersia, like Monica, I used to have repetitive dreams about being at school or travelling to school and also sitting for an exam ill-prepared. But after journey on the Spiritually path, reading books such as mind power; the light shall set you free and strange reading my Bible, I came to the conclusion that, perhaps this is the school I have been yearning for. I'm still on this journey, yearning to know myself initimately, especially my strengths because I'm not interested in weakness as I believe this is just but how one has been raised, to live in fear and doubt your capabilities. However, I;m still struggling with a little of doubt and meditation, can you suggest something workable?

You have a wonderful take on your school dream.

Regarding your question. I have been on the spiritual path for a while now and I have met many people on the same path. Unfortunately we all dance to our own tunes. That is what is so fantastic about it. Confusing, of course, but absolutely fascinating.

In spirituality we practice inclusiveness and tolerance. Knowing we are all one with everybody and everything. We respect each others journeys and we find our own journey without judgment or comparing.

Most of us find books and people on our way who guide and inform us. Some stay many years others just drop by the way. But everybody and every book has some kind of collective impact in the long run. I have read books at the beginning of my awakening that only make sense now.

The best thing I can suggest is to commune with people of similar thought. Talk and walk your truth. Spirituality and our destiny is something we have to conquer o here and now. It is no use being spiritual and you cannot cope with everyday life. Your life should be a spiritual practice. It is not difficult. In actual fact living close to nature and with awareness you live a wonderful life. Every challenge is an opportunity to grow. Every moment is exciting and full of opportunity – if you are in the moment.

If you look at my philosophy you will see the books I used to base my lifestyle on.

    Dear monica

It could definitely be you yearning for tertiary education that is surfacing in your dreams and that you feel "done in" because you never had the opportunity.

But it would be interesting to hear what happens if you ask for clarity about aspects of your dream before you fall asleep. You might not receive an answer the first night but keep on asking the question and see what happens.

The question of what to study could also be answered in this way. Dreams could be very cryptic but they are worth examining. OR you could reflect on what you enjoyed previously and what has made you happy. Remember time is not an issue. Anybody can at any time improve themselves. Working towards a goal is exhilarating and worth the effort.

Career wise - correspondence courses are very accessible and affordable. (Just make sure the institution you choose is accredited.) On the other hand life is a learning institution par excellance. Awareness and being present gives one an edge.

Keep contact and let us know what happens to your dreams queries.

PS Repetitive dreams are dreams that are trying very hard to be noticed. They are important to your growth and until you act on them you will by 'haunted' by them.

    Good dreaming
